THE GOD WHO TURNS THINGS AROUND

You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, 12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to You forever. Psalm 30:11-12 NKJ

Psalm 30:11-12 NKJ 11 You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, 12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to You forever.

This is a classic example of what can happen when God is in our lives. We can go from mourning and sadness to dancing with joy. He can so turn things that we are filled with gladness.

The end result is that we are not silent about God and His goodness. He touches our soul, our inward man, and we can't help but give thanks. He is the Master, the God of the turnaround.

APPLICATION

David is expressing thanks and joy after God had done a turnaround in his life. We can take it up a notch by giving thanks and expressing praise before we see things change. Because we serve the God who turns things around, we are glad, and we will not stay silent; we know a turnaround is coming.
