25 As cold water to a weary soul,
So is good news from a far country.
Merry Christmas! I hope this is or has been a good day for you. Christmas can be a mixed bag. For some, it's a happy day filled with family and food. For others, it's a lonely reminder of things that have not gone right. And for many, it's a high-stress day of highs and lows.
Whatever your Christmas experience is, there is still good news from a far country. God loved us enough to send His Son to pay the price for our freedom. And pave the way for us to spend eternity with Him. An eternity where every day is Christmas, the good kind filled with love and peace and joy.
So, if you are feeling weary from the emotional toll of the Christmas season. Let the reminder of God's gift and what that means to us today and for eternity refresh your soul.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the greatest love gift of all, Jesus. He truly is the gift that just keeps on giving. Thank You for refreshing the souls of those who are weary and worn down. Thank You that Your good news never gets old.
