Responsibilities: 

• Assist married couples with gaining valuable insights and advice to strengthen their marriages 
  
• Assist engaged or newlywed couples with basic skills to build a strong marriage 

Requirements: 

• Be willing and able to serve as a couple
  
• Be legally married, understand Scripture, and have a desire to help marriages succeed 
• Have a high degree of empathy and ability to communicate biblical truth in a non-judgmental manner
• Complete the application process by submitting a 3–5-minute audition video
• Must interview with an Ark Adults Associate Pastor as part of the application process
• Must attend one semester of Married Life Class
• Attend Marriage Mentoring training classes 
• Attend Ark Adults Orientation
• Attend Ark Adults Training which happens twice per year

Serving Shifts: 

• Mentoring sessions are scheduled at mutually convenient times and locations
